DR. MICHAEL NEELY - South Sound Pain Relief Clinic
I began working in healthcare in 1993 providing a Rolfing-based deep tissue bodywork. That foundation in bodywork later led me into chiropractic medicine at Western States Chiropractic College. After graduation in 2001, I moved back to Olympia to begin my career as a chiropractic physician. For the first 8 years of my practice I also taught anatomy, physiology, and pathology, which has been an invaluable asset to my clinical practice.
My practice focuses primarily on spinal pain conditions, but I also work with pain conditions that affect other areas of the body, such as wrists, shoulders, hips, feet, and more. I strongly believe there is no “one size fits all” treatment, as every patient needs and responds best to individualized care. Therefore I approach the treatment of each patient with a variety of soft tissue therapies, manipulation of the spine and extremities, rehabilitation training, and other conservative care interventions. I take a whole body-mind approach to providing care, so that every patient can heal as quickly and as completely as possible. Over the years I have found it deeply fulfilling to be able to facilitate healing for my patients through manual medicine and help them become self-empowered through body awareness and knowledge.
